The main unit of access and control is a Team. A team consists of:
The team founder, which is a user identified by their email address. This email address is shown to all team members to prevent phishing attacks. The team founder has complete control over the team.
A collection of team administrators, which are users identified by their email addresses. Team administrators can create new projects, view and update billing information, upgrade or cancel the project plan, and add and remove team members.
A collection of team members, which are users identified by their email addresses. Team members can view and edit all projects which are owned by the team.
A collection of projects. A project is a single instance of our SeedTactic Programs and is the unit of study, investigation, and improvement. It can be a single FMS, a machining cell, or the entire factory depending on what is being designed and improved.
A monthly billing plan. The team is billed monthly for all projects owned by the team (see pricing details). The team founder or a team administrator can change or cancel the team's plan at any time.
When a user signs in to their account with their email address, they can see all teams they are a member of and all projects they can access via their team memberships. Users can also create new teams, create new projects, and create or edit existing teams if they have the proper permission.
